I have a new icon that I stole from someone and I haven't posted in almost a month sooooooo...

I've been temping, collecting unemployment, and babysitting lots. But I have an interview for a real job Tuesday that I really hope I get. Because like... not working makes me feel a bit loser-y. On the plus side, I'm spending a lot of time with my bf. Katie, haha, you know him. He was in David's workshop. Guess who! Hint: neither of the Davids. Because one is married and one is gay.

In other news, if anyone spoils the new Harry Potter for me, I will cut them. I don't understand some people on LJ who say "OH COME ON IT'S A CHILDREN'S BOOK." It's not, but even if it was, what do you care what people derive enjoyment from? If you try to ruin that, you have a bitter, shriveled-up heart. It probably looks like a dried strawberry.

Jeanette, Vivian, and I all are having the books delivered on Saturday and then we're going to have a Harry Potter reading day in the park on Sunday. I almost hope a stranger runs up and tries to spoil it, so I can chase them and beat them up. I have a lot of energy stored up, given the whole not working thing.

Also, I've been listening compulsively to this band, The National, and they're so great. I recommend you investigate.

I agree about HP.

Watch out with your Livejournalling til you read the book, because apparantly some asshole trolls are going around posting mega spoilers in random communities. I don't understand why thats fun to do? Luckily I haven't seen any yet or i swear i will find them and fucking kill them.

yeah, i'm sort of afraid to click on anything anywhere!! I also have this fear that tomorrow night as I purchase my book from the midnight Potterfest at Borders that the first asshole in line is like, going to buy the book, turn to the end and yell out what happens.

Of course if this does occur I have a feeling I will not be the only one chasing after them and smacking them with my pocketbook.

wait, I did not know we were having a park reading day. I am going to the Brazilians Girl concert at CP w/ Mike.

also, our couch is gone so the living room looks naked. Also, the couch looks disgusting on the street, I looked and it and thought, "I can't believe I sat on you for a year, and sometimes without pants." movin on.
